Looking for a particularly unique plant to spice up your life?
Look no further--the prayer plant is a hard-to-find plant with gorgeous color & an eccentric personality.
Also known as the red maranta herringbone, this is an easy-going plant whose leaves move throughout the day to follow the sun! It grows slowly, so no need to worry about frequent repotting. Most types of prayer-plants have variegated foliage and produce flowers when large, but I wouldn't worry about that too soon!
We recommend medium to bright indirect light. Too much sun might overwhelm this plant.
Allow the soil to mostly dry out in between waterings, which should be about every 1-2 weeks. The more sun this plant gets, the more water it will need.
